Take a Private Workshop to learn the art & craft of Hyperlapse Cinematography with the guidance of Alexandros Maragos

The workshops will be held on July, August and September 2020 in Athens, Greece. They are for beginners, amateur photographers of all levels and Professionals interested in learning the art and craft of Hyperlapse Cinematography. Each workshop is unique and customised. There is no script and no procedure to follow. There’ll be coffee and snack breaks – consider the workshop a day in the city where you’ll learn the Hyperlapse technique and discuss photography and cinematography in a relaxed and friendly way. Photography should be an enjoyable experience. These workshops feature a positive and interactive learning environment.

Participants should be in good health and comfortable walking or standing under the sun.
Activities may include city walking, visits to sites or easy hikes in hills and mountains.

HYPERLAPSE CINEMATOgraphy Workshop OPTIONS

All prices are quoted in Euro currency (€) and do not include taxes.

HYPERLAPSE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

• The Hyperlapse workshops require that you have a digital camera which allows for manual settings, as well as a a tripod, an Intervalometer, at least 4 fully charged camera batteries and 32GBs of memory card storage. The camera should support interchangeable lenses (f/2.8 or faster is preferred) between 24 and 200mm. If you don’t have the necessary equipment, a digital camera with lenses, tripod, Intervalometer, batteries and memory card can be provided to you upon request at additional cost.

• Laptop (Optional). If you would like to follow along or take notes during the RAW Hyperlapse processing sessions, then you may want to have your laptop with you. The software applications that we will emphasize include Adobe Camera Raw, Bridge, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE:

• Two-Hour Hyperlapse Workshops: Full Payment or €200 deposit is required to reserve your spot with the balance due 10 days prior to the day of the workshop

• Half Day Hyperlapse Workshops: Full Payment or €400 deposit is required to reserve your spot with the balance due 10 days prior to the day of the workshop

• Full Day Hyperlapse Workshops: Full Payment or €600 deposit is required to reserve your spot with the balance due 10 days prior to the day of the workshop

• Two-Day Hyperlapse Workshops: Full Payment or €800 deposit is required to reserve your spot with the balance due 10 days prior to the day of the workshop

• Payments can be made using a credit card or via Direct Bank Transfer

CANCELLATIONS & REFUND POLICY:

Full Payments: If you cancel up to 7 days prior to the workshop, you will receive a full refund minus a €120 service fee & administrative costs. No refund will be issued if you cancel less than 7 days prior to the workshop.

Deposits: If you cancel up to 14 days prior to the workshop, you will receive a full deposit refund minus a €120 service fee & administrative costs. No deposit refund will be issued if you cancel less than 14 days prior to the workshop.

If your workshop is cancelled for any reason, your entire registration fee will be transferred to another workshop of your choosing or you may request a full refund.
