Sarakiniko Beach on Milos Island, Greece, named after the Saracen pirates, is located on the north shore of the island. Carved out by waves driven by northern winds from white volcanic rock, the unique landscape looks like a moonscape or a place from another planet. In 2019, Milos was named Best Island in Europe and 4th Best Island in the World by Travel + Leisure.
